A unique 12V roof air conditioner designed for use in campervans, motorhomes and van conversions up to 6 metres. This air conditioner is ideal for cooling and dehumidifying the sleeping area of a vehicle, rather than the entire vehicle as with traditional AC air conditioning units. It can also be used in the sleeping areas of larger vehicles that do not exceed 9m3 in size. This Plein-Aircon unit kicks out an impressive 1200W of output and is recommended to use with a minimum of 150AH leisure battery. For those visiting campsites with access to mains power, a 220V Smart Switch can be easily added to this unit (see product code 32602). Once the switch is fitted and the vehicle is plugged into mains, the unit will automatically switch to operating from mains power. We recommend the user cools the sleeping area of their vehicle with the unit on full power for approximately an hour, then the air conditioner can be turned down to a lower setting to maintain a comfortable sleeping temperature. The unit also has a ventilation mode which enables fresh air to be generated. The roof-top unit includes all the necessary components for the air conditioning function (the condenser, the evaporator, the hermetic compressor and the fans). It then MUST be combined with an air diffuser (sold separately) which is installed inside the vehicle against the roof. Diffuser options are as follows: - Plein-Aircon Basic model: This diffuser features adjustable vents without mood lighting. - Plein-Aircon Ringlight model: This diffuser features a customisable panel with white or blue LED perimeter lighting. This panel can also be customised with different finishes, fabrics, and stickers to integrate the air conditioner with the vehicle's interior style. - Plein-Aircon Lightbox model: This diffuser is designed to return natural light from the porthole and radiates and diffuses white or blue light, ideal for night driving. The latest Plein-Aircon models have been redesigned and manufactured entirely in Italy, with improved efficiency and user-friendliness thanks to the new configuration of the fins. The precision and directional flexibility of the air distribution have been optimised, allowing for even vertical distribution. The unit can operate in two modes (one of which is optional): - 12V (standard mode), connected to the service battery. The air conditioner can work if the vehicle is either stationary or moving. 12V and 230V (optional mode), connected to the service battery and to the mains (it requires a230V Smart Switch transformer kit, optional). The Truma  Gen1 Combi D 6 (E) diesel heater is a warm air heater with an integrated hot water system (10-litre volume). 33513-26/GPSP In heating and hot water mode, the heater can be used to heat the vehicle and heat water up at the same time. If only hot water is required, the user can select the hot water mode. Operating modes: - Diesel mode only: for autonomous use - Electric mode only: With 230V for stationary use - Mixed mode (diesel and electrical mode): Only possible in heating and hot water mode • Heating and Hot Water Mode In heating and hot water mode, the unit automatically selects the required operating level according to the temperature difference between the temperature set on the control panel and the current room temperature. If the boiler has been filled, the water is automatically heated as well. The water temperature depends on the selected operating mode and the heater output.
