MonoControl CS from Truma is a safety gas pressure regulator for caravans and motorhomes. The gas pressure regulator ensures a uniform output pressure of 30 mbar with a permissible inlet pressure range of 0.3 to 16 bar. The integrated crash sensor (CS) interrupts the flow of gas in the event of an accident with directly acting deceleration of 4.0 g ± 1.0 g. The regulator with safety valve is a single-stage gas pressure regulator. If the gas pressure regulator is not working properly, for example due to dirt or other foreign material on the valve, the safety valve opens and blows off to a pressure of 110 mbar. Please note: Using the MonoControl CS in closed rooms (e.g. at home), on boats or in EX Zone 0 (e.g. tankers) is prohibited. The national regulations must be observed if there is a possibility of it being used in mobile homes. Its use in mobile homes is prohibited in Germany. An automatic PRV (Pressure Relief Valve) safety device integrated in the MonoControl CS with limited flow protects the connected consumers against impermissibly high pressure. As soon as an impermissibly high pressure arises on the output side, the PRV opens and blows out the overpressure into the air. The PRV closes automatically after the pressure is reduced. Gases are unintentional, but can be caused by leakage and faults in equipment, cylinders or pipes. The 3Gas + Alarm detects all of the following gases: LPG (both butane / propane) in the event of accidental leakage of a device, cylinder or pipe. The 3Gas + Alarm is a very small alarm, with a modern design that fits into any interior. The sensor is extremely sensitive, and warns for even the smallest gas concentrations. The operation of the sensor is checked at each start-up, and the automatic calibration process tests every 40 seconds if the setting is still correct and if a change is necessary. Light and sound signals ensure the user a proper working.When the 3Gas+ alarm detects a gas concentration in the ambient air, it will generate a 40 second during pre-alarm. If the gas concentration remains constant during the pre-alarm or is increasing, the alarm is activated with a continuous alarm tone and the red LED constantly shines. If the gas concentration after the alarm has disappeared, the 3Gas+ alarm will return to the stand-by mode. Additional SensorBecause some gases rise and some gases fall, it is possible to improve the operation of the 3Gas+ alarm, particularly for larger vehicles, by placing an extra (optional) sensor that can be mounted at a different height or position. In order to make optimal use of a gas alarm in general, it is strongly recommended to work with two sensors. (The alarm + an extra optional sensor) We recommend that the alarm is installed at a height of 30cm above the floor for falling gasses and the optional additional sensor at minimum of 1.50 high from the floor and at least 20 cm below the ceiling. The extra sensors detect all the same gases as the main alarm, when connected to the main alarm. It is possible to connect 2 extra sensors per main alarm, for example on another height or in a different room.
