Our stand alone 160W off-grid solar power kit would typically be used for small off grid applications such as, summer houses, sheds, caravans, motorhomes, boats, stables etc. Each kit has been designed for a quick and easy install and include all cables and connectors along with a 300W Sunshine Power Inverter to provide a pure sine wave AC 230V supply from the DC batteries supplied (inverter upgrade options available).

Using the power of the sun and a state of art MPPT controller that intelligently regulates the working voltage of the solar panel this system can deliver approximately 53Ah on a 12V system per day during the summer months.

With the 300W Power Inverter supplied with this kit you could expect to run 230V AC appliances such as a TV, Laptop, Sound System, Tablet & Mobile Charges, Horse Clippers, Low Energy Lighting and much more, (inverter upgrade options available).

Monitoring of the system can be made easy with an Apple Android smartphones, tablets, MacBook's and other devices, using the solar controllers built in Bluetooth function.

      • With a Sunshine 160W solar panel you could expect to generate around 44 amps per day when used in conjunction with a PWM solar charge controller and around 53 amps per day with an MPPT solar controller during the summer months. Multiple panels can be connected to acquire higher power if needed.
